Lumme.

Jonathan Ross will be groping Monkey Man's pods tomorrow on Terry Wogan's new tv show on Channel 5. 8O

I also read that Victor Lewis Smith has offered £1,000 to anyone who rips off Terry's wig live on tv...

*edit*
Show over-ran and I stood like a chump in a monkey suit behind Terry, Gaby and Jonathan but alas... Sad

I work with someone (Richard Tanner) who went to school with Jon, and the memory still haunts him. He speaks often of Jon's Queen obsession. Smile

I think i remember her being called Racheal, may be wrong though. Why not look further back in the thread when they were talking about having to get someone to make a phonecall.

Hmmm.... it may take less time to wait for ccc to confirm or deny the identity than it would to scroll back through 18 pages of text. I wonder...

Yes, I'm sure she said she'd heard of you Jon.

I'll get the chump to post when she gets in (after she's finished doing the Boobah dance, of course)

Hello Mary. Congratulations on the cow exclusive.

I see you used a computer and internet to discover the truth behind the police drugs raid - well done!

http://www.thisiskentandeastsussex.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=82708&command=displayContent&sourceNode=82707&contentPK=5843124

I like your avatar - it seems you are becoming a bit of a whizz kid. What computers do they have at the Courier? ZX Spectrums or Commodore 64s?

Hi ChrisChrisChris,

I know so little about computers I don't know if the comment about Spectrums and Commodores is funny or not. At a guess they are really old. Like that tennis game where it is just two blobs smashing a cursor backwards and forwards across a screen with a "blip, blip, blip" noise. I think you used that for your "Fin" piece with the cat, did you not?

I am very pleased that I managed to get an avatar - the choice was amazing. Now I want to change my sign on from Marylouiseharris - which is boring - to marycanary. Can't do it but.......one day..........one day........tum te tum.

Hey folks,

Any chance this could be continued on a new thread, so I can archive this one and free up some space? I've left it as long as possible so as not to interrupt the flow....

Chrischrischris, what say you?

It's been hilarious, by the way Laughing

Fine by me as well. It was great doing business with you. Me and stickfinger are the only people posting. I am new to this lark, so I probably won't be able to find a new "thread" but ChrisChrisChris will probably guide me through.

Nearly 700 posts and nearly 2700 views.

It's been good Smile

Claire, is it possible to rename it when it's archived to The upside of my job / MonkeyMan or something?

Ta for the comments. I think I'll leave it for a while to give ccc the chance to comment himself too.

Mary, just wanted to say that I think you've been a great sport in all this and I'm delighted you've joined the BB. I hope you stick around Smile

Yes, that's a good idea. I can do that. Any other suggestions while we're here?

so_real, what do you think (as you did start the thread.... even though it went completely OT pretty much immediately!)

Go for it ClaireDeeCee.

This has been a giggle and hopefully, thanks to the words of wisdom of Benny J somewhere back there, if I can get off my arse, it's going to be a book too (woo - my boss promised he'd publish it - though quite who would buy it is another thing)

Suppose I shouldn't really copy and paste from this thread - gah, that means real work though.

Anyway gorgeous TDCBBers of glee, thanks for all the support and larfs and Claire, thanks for letting it clog up your podules for so long. Razz
