*giggles* We're not being bitchy cookie monster. It's just our humour. We've all been sat her for 3 years without food or whatever or anything else better to do with our time and this is what we've resorted to. Smile This is another thing we've had to resort to...

Peoples!!! Where was your manners?! Why didn't somebody show Mary to the kitchen so that she could make everyone a nice cup of tea?

I suspect it is the fact that you are a Cookie Monster making an entrance into a den of Jaffa Cake, Custard Cream and Hobnob loving greedypaws.

* proffers five Hobnobs *

That's all the Hobnobs there are. Honest.

Dear Editor,

Could you help me?

I’m not sure I understand your dissapointment over the “O Man” story.

Quite what you expected the “truth” to be is beyond me – a genuine superhero?

Instead of being relieved that you hadn’t given countless column inches to a promotional scam by a mobile phone company, you blast it as a “far fetched charade” - which you put to print on the word of a letter and a couple of emails.

It got people in Tunbridge talking and I presume meant several thousand more people cast their eyes over your pages and your billboards.

Also, to paint Chris Shaw as a “lame, innefectual and rather sad alter ego” Clarke Kent type figure is a little rare.

Wasn’t it he who with just a couple of letters managed to get the world’s media knocking at his door (and not to mention start a fantastic deabte about “mutt mess” on your letters page)

He may get excited about “internet chatrooms”, but at least he’s up to speed with modern communication techniques.

Perhaps if someone in your newsroom ever logged-on they may have found out the whole thing was a hoax several weeks ago and saved you from this “disapointment”?

Brian Shelf

I have no spell check - can someone give it a glance over for me?

Cheers

Dear Mr Shelf,

You, quite simply, rock.

Ummm....yes....

Have I got this right...?

"Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for a great interview! Here's how you can listen in online: go
to http://www.cbc.ca/audio.html on Saturday and listen in live online at 2 pm
your time (if you click anywhere on the east coast), 3 pm (if you click on
Toronto or Ottawa), 4 pm (click on Winnipeg), 5 pm (Calgary or Edmonton), or 6
pm (Vancouver or Whitehorse). Also, send me your mailing address, and I'll happily send you a couple of Canadian bananas.

Again, thanks - and may Monkeyman live forever!!

Regards,

Jennifer Van Evra
CBC Radio One"

If you clicked on the "CBC Radio 1 live from Toronto" link, th ebig one beneath the map, i presume it's at 3pm.

Their schedule for the morning is:

09:00The House
10:00 That Saturday Show
11:00 What A Week

I presume this thing is The House.

Just heard it, that was great.

If you wanna listen to it if you missed it, listen to Calgary or Edmonton links at about 5:40, because the interview is quite near the end of the hour.
