It could be the version from "A Promenade Companion" - that's definitely acoustic. There's a version on the ASH bonus disc as well, isn't there? But I can't remember how that one goes.

I would think it's the one from the Secret History bonus disc. That's acoustic with guitar, violin and cello I believe.

Hmm I'm beginning to wonder now if the Promenade Companion one is the ASH one. But divineguitar says it's a demo version on ASH. *shrugs*

The "A Secret History" compilation, or in this case, the limited edition version with book and bonus CD.

“You are April you are May
What a stupid thing to say
Just forgive me and forget
That I ever opened my mouth”

Queen of the South is in my best of TDC. I like too the acoustic version, that I arrange in the internet
Very Happy

Yep, the version on the A Secret History bonus disc is merely the one on A Promenade Companion without the spoken bit at the beginning and with the freestyle guitar moment at about 1:20. It's just been smoothly edited.

It says on the notes for the ASH bonus disk that the version of 'Queen of the South' there is 'A Promenade era take on a Liberation era tune.' So not a demo, then. Never heard the Promenade Companion though.
