The air hostess looks a teeny bit like Keira Knightly.

Plus, the foot raising movement keeps reminding me of The Fifth Element.

Yes, miles better than have crappy real player clogging up your system.
Also worth downloading Quicktime Alternative rather than using the horrible Apple-stylee quicktime player that sticks itself everywhere.

Can't wait to get home and watch the vid.... (in windows media player)

Funny you should say that because apparently the video was made by a French animation company, so it could be the same people.

I've got a Tank Francaise, but it only looks right with certain outfits... it's a bit dressy. Cartier make absolutely superb timepieces. Not just looks-wise, but mechanically too.. Some of the best in the world. The Santos is nice, if a bit fancy (particularly the two tone one). There's a definite understated elegance about them.

The blue jewel too.

So... this limited edition version of AF. Is it likely to be for France only? If so, anyone know any good websites to import French CDs from...?

The watch annoys me though. He had it on at Barfly too.. See with his current image, he needs a nice leather strap Patek Gondolo, or maybe even a nice Cartier Roadster at a push. Something with a nice silver/white gold/platinum squared face, and a nice black leather strap. A bit classy, like.

Like this?

You will not believe this, but my uncle Paul designed this watch and is a director in the company!!!!

Maybe he has two watches... after all, he probably does a lot of travelling overseas, being an International Business Traveller.

One is GMT and one is local time , perhaps?

Oh go to bed DTTW.

Does anyone know the track-listing for the French limited edition? Will it just be b-sides to singles that won't be released in France, or are they new songs?

I think Claire said on another thread (or maybe it was this one, can't be arsed to look sorry), that the bonus tracks would just be b-sides that will be featured on forthcoming UK singles, and not anything unique to the French CD.

All that I know is that one track is 'Anthem For Bored Youth' (not a B-side as I remember),
and that Yann TIERSEN is playing "accordion" on it.
I don't know anything about the 3 others ...

If some of you want to buy a French limited Edition here's a link :

I have the misfortune of having my bank right next to Place Vendôme which means I have to walk past Tiffany, Cartier, Chanel, Armani...&c on my way to deposit my money. It's torture. Must...pay...rent...

By the way Flip, would you marry me?

Quite a set of legs on her, too Yes Yes

I'm trying to think who moustachioed Neil reminds me of. A character from something or other. Someone spivvy like Mickey from Fools and Horses, except someone older. It's really annoying me. I'm pretty sure it's a sitcom/comedy character man, though. Maybe one of Palin's greasy Python characters, in the Arthur Pewtey mould? Hmmm. Confused

I want Neil's socks!

Not been able to view the video yet. Note to self: push past the psychological barriers and install RealPlayer or the like. 'Anthem For Bored Youth' sounds a bit like the title for a Morrissey song (got the same kind of 'feel' to it).

No no no no no..The gratuitous nork/nads shots were quite enough for me ta. It was a shoe-horned in DC thing... That's a great song that is, in fact I'm about to jump in the car, and might just take Casanova with me. Woo.

He doesn't really seem your type, but I could be wrong.

Oh. Finally saw the video, Yay! Thanks so much for the link Bérénice.
The watch, the watch. Oooooh.

Jeans, watches, sunglasses, CD's and magazines.
These are a few of my favorite things.

Ta for that, divtuk...

"The Divs clearly know how to put exactly the right pictures to their songs. Basically this follows the journey home of a bloke called Billy, who happens to have the head of a bird. See? Does exactly what it says on the tin."

The Divs? Oh dear...

Oi! No Top of the Pops slagging! If it were not on, how else would I be able to punish myself for my week of sins? Sitting there, rocking gently, correcting Tim Kunt's grammar as he speaks...

I'm finding myself watching all the Saturday morning music shows today, on the off chance of a Billy Bird glimpse. Nothing as yet - but my money's on CD:UK for next week. That video gets better the more times I watch it.
