Oh, I hope the video comes on a DVD like Perfect Lovesong did, and not a shitty 'Enhanced CD'. I hate those things.

Seems unlikely from Laz's post. Still, it means that there's another black round thing to add to my collection!

I agree. If it weren't for the round black thing player that my housemate has, I'd have to go back home if I wanted to play it! Just have 3 CDs if you want to pleasure us with that many B sides! (I want that many B sides please!!!) All my vinyl's all just been converted to CD anyway now, it's just a shame about the quality.

ooooh, a demo of billy bird, yay! Smile

and i think they should all count for the charts no? i remember someone posting here saying that two three-track cds weren't allowable anymore, so that's why one of these is a two track one i guess. stupid things. and then the silly music people are gonna wonder why people are buying less singles! maaaadness!
anyway, yay for cds! i love the excitement and happiness of buying all possible single formats

now this is exciting! I loved the Regen bsides sooo much they were all wonderful, so im extra excited about these bsides.

Will also be buying all three! Very Happy

Now, Idaho! There were two different version played on the last tour. One version was country version (similar to the country version of mastermind) and the other was a slow version.

I reckon Neil is gonna choose the country version.

yeah i think they did it so all these pop idol people dont have to pay more songwriters to fil up the bsides, thus making more money.

its a bit poo cos it was an indie bands best way of charting as lots of fans usually buy both cds to get the extra songs!
nevermind.

im guessing the billy bird demo will be more like the version we are used to hearing live??

I notice that there are different b sides on them all. I won't be able to hear "All Things" because I don't have a record player (and can't think of any friend that has either!)...

*sob*

Still, apart from that, good news, eh?

*brightens considerably*

*Brighton's considerably*

Heh hee..None. I love the warm fuzzy crackle of vinyl, so the last thing I'd want to do is take it away!! (Particularly not for $14k).

Cool idea though.

That's what I'm hoping for. I wouldn't be as excited if it was a song I've heard before, but a new unheard of song. I have to hear it!.

i reckon if someone stuck a sticker of neil hannon on one of them record-to-cd devices thingies, and said it was a rare divine comedy endorsed gadget, and stuck it on ebay, 14 grand would seem like a bargain to you Very Happy

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

It was during the 'do people look like their avatar' debate.

Laughing

Well...maybe 12..or 13 grand at a push. Oh go on then - 14K it is, but only if Neil actually touched it.
