Yep; Babs being mentioned, the song being played, the announcement of a session on Drivetime in March....

...but at least the Buggles are on now to console you. Very Happy

Yes you have. Sad

Dang, this is growing on me already! (Soon as I heard the Babs reference, the record button was hit!)

I feel happy! It's very Promenadey/Liberationey. Like it. Smile

having now heard the radio 2 airing i am happy to announce that it is a far cry from the versions that have been circulating the web. better by far. i think therefore the ones on the web are un-mixed and so the final one has got mr godrich's work encased within which i think is good good good.

Phil Jupitus just said it was a 'cracking song' and it's 'just unbelievably wonderful as Neil Hannon always is'. They want to make it single of the week next week but don't have a copy (they had to blag the copy they've just played off someone else). Claire!!!

I wish these people would make their 'singles of the week' closer to the actual release dates. Billy Bird is still six weeks off! But it's good that Jupitus wants it... someone get it round there, sharpish!

Just make sure Neil pays for your taxi, Claire. He may pretend he's only got enough change for your bus fare to the BBC, but don't believe him!

It's amazing how an affection towards The Divine Comedy can change your opinion.

Phill Jupitus. The world's greatest living comedian.
