As much as I moan about my job, there are some perks about working here.
We do product testing for all sorts of companies. There's always left-over test product being handed out to project team members - candy, chips, pretzels, other food products, suncare products, disposable cameras.
Today, though I received the coolest thing I've ever received from my job (besides my paycheck): A telescope! We did a field study, & each market got one for the respondents to try out during the interview, & the client decided to give them away to team members. So, now, I have to get a computer for my house, because it comes w/CD-rom software that will not only tell you what you're viewing, but can be programmed to find what you want to see!
Whoo hoo! |

I used get a bottle of wine thrice a year or so, from one of the drink reps who used our warehouse at work. Then he thought that someone had nicked some of his wine (it had merely been moved). My workmate assured him of its non-theft by saying 'Who'd steal that s**t?!' (Okay, it wasn't great wine, but it was good in sauces.) End of freebies. |

Nice to know that you've checked... But with a telescope, the word "neighbour" becomes more relative...

Well, If..., I just got the telescope yesterday - haven't checked w/it yet! Seriously, though, I've seen a lot of the people that live around me, &, well, no...
And, Sticky, I didn't ask. I stated it as fact. I'm sure he's got better things to do. Besides, he'd thinking about cheerleaders, anyway, not me, silly! |

Well, you could always post a piccy of you dressed as a cheerleader...
Either that or, as we speak, Sticks is busy with Photoshop, grafting your head onto a saucy cheerleader's body... |

My office now features a Departmental Go Board. Woo Hoo.
We're so busy. See the sweat pour off our brow as we surf the internet and cast naughty fishing nets over stray dolphins. |

It'd be nice to see Mr De Burgh playing a concert in Crowborough Caves, too, when they're eventually reopened. 8O |

Won't be long now Lilypodule.
I think once we've got written comfirmation from Judith Chalmers that she's willing to become a 'Friend of the Caves' it's just a matter of time. |
