That's about what he looked like the time I saw him in San Francisco -- I believe that was the same tour. I remember the hair and the suit jacket combo very specifically. That would have been what, 2001 or early 2002?

Weird, I saw them on the Regen tour and I thought he looked completely different. Must've had his hair done somewhere inbetween. My initial reaction when I saw that pic is that it must've been years ago...

1998 - City Hall, Cork
1999 - The Millenium Concert, Merrion Square, Dublin
2001 - Temple Bar, Dublin
2001 - Dublin Castle, Heineken Green Energy Festival
2001 - The Savoy, Cork
2001 - The Olympia, Dublin (x 2)
2001 - Mandela Hall, Belfast
2002 - St. Nicholas Church, Galway Arts Fest
2002 - The Ambassador Theatre, Dublin, w/Ben Folds (x 2)
2004 - HMV, Dublin (This was so cute that I had to include it.)
2004 - Le Grand Rex, Paris
2004 - The Gaiety Theatre, Dublin

That's fourteen times. I hadn't realised I'd seen DC that often. I did go to the R.E.M. Landsdowne Road gig at which they played support in 1999 but ended up missing DC, thanks to an error as regards the start time on the ticket. I was gutted at the time. Made up for it since.

I'm sure if someone tried hard enough they could pinpoint the gig that contained the most BBers. I'm off to the pub and if the result isn't in by the time I return, I'll moon you all I swear I will. Both cheeks if I'm really angry.

Wow!

Top stuff Hannoncom! Very Happy

I've been to slightly less gigs than you!Wink

Off the top of my head**:

Bristol Trinity Centre

London Forum (I Am Kloot)

Brixton Academy (The Bush,The Tree and Me)

Royal Festival Hall- Meltdown (The groovy Polyphonic Spree)

Queens Hall Edinburgh- T On The Fringe

Shepherds Bush Empire (The great Ben Folds supporting and a fab set by Chris T-T ) which I went to on both nights!

So that's a grand total of 7 Very Happy

** I can remember the venue and support bands but am fuzzy with the dates but they're all 2001/2 I think!..
